Punt Road Wines is a well-established family-owned winery in Coldstream, in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, whose history reaches back to vine plantings in 1860. The Napoleone family owns and farms the estate, currently in its third and fourth generation. Their estate vineyard is about 58 hectares of vines. Punt Road focuses on producing wines that strongly express the cool-climate terroir of Coldstream. Key varieties include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Gamay, among others. Their winemaking philosophy emphasises minimal intervention, letting fruit, season and site character lead—harvesting based on flavour and acidity, modest oak use that supports rather than dominates, and a commitment to quality in every step.
