Boat O Craigo Vineyards

Boat O’Craigo is a second-generation, family-owned boutique winery in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, established by Steve and Margaret Graham. They farm over 50 acres across two vineyards—one in Healesville (cooler climate) and the other in Kangaroo Ground (warmer site with volcanic basalt soils).

About Boat O Craigo

The Healesville vineyard is focused on early-ripening white varietals such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer and Grüner Veltliner, plus Pinot Noir. The Kangaroo Ground site is dedicated more to reds—Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache among others. Boat O’Craigo pays attention to terroir, low yields, and harvesting by hand to ensure concentrated flavour and premium quality.

Their Healesville cellar door offers wine tastings, with views over the vineyard and ranges, and casual food (cheese/charcuterie boards, pizzas, etc.) for visitors to enjoy. The winery has earned recognition, including James Halliday’s Dark Horse Winery of the Year (2018) and 5-Star Winery status.
