Four Pillars Gin is a highly regarded craft distillery based in Healesville, in Victoria’s Yarra Valley, established in 2013 by Cameron Mackenzie, Stuart Gregor and Matt Jones.
About Four Pillars Gin
They make what they call “modern Australian” gin: bold, flavour-forward spirits that combine traditional elements like juniper with fresh citrus (including whole oranges), native botanicals such as lemon myrtle and Tasmanian pepperberry, and inventive experiments like barrel-aged or fruit-infused gins. lTheir core range includes Rare Dry Gin, Navy Strength, Spiced Negroni Gin, Bloody Shiraz Gin among others.
In 2022, Four Pillars became Australia’s first certified carbon neutral gin distillery, and the distillery received international recognition for its sustainability work. Their Healesville home has been expanded (a $7 million upgrade) to include a large indoor/outdoor gin garden, visitor facilities, a copper bar, event spaces and a shop with limited releases and local-only gin offerings.
Overall, Four Pillars is seen both as a local Yarra Valley destination and a global benchmark in craft gin distilling.
